Delta Arts Center Presents Pop-Up Exhibition at CONVIVE 2025: The Rev. Bill Yates Symposium

The Delta Arts Center was honored to present a pop-up exhibition at CONVIVE 2025: The Rev. Bill Yates Symposium, Toward the Health and Wellness of Clergy, Congregations, and Communities, held at the historic Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem.

The exhibit featured works by Kara Elizabeth, Mona King, Willie Welch, and Richard Tuck, transforming one of the estate’s hall rooms into a serene space for reflection and restoration. Designed as a “relaxation room,” the installation offered symposium attendees a peaceful retreat where they could meditate over art and engage in moments of quiet contemplation amid a day of deep discussion and learning.

The inaugural William Yates Symposium centered on the theme of holistic well-being, emphasizing an ecosystems approach to the health of faith leaders, their congregations, and the communities they serve. This innovative gathering sought to equip clergy with tools and strategies that not only nurture their individual wellness but also strengthen the collective well-being of the spiritual and social ecosystems they lead.

Through this collaboration, Delta Arts Center underscored the essential role of the arts in healing and wellness—offering visual art as a bridge between mindfulness, spirituality, and community care.
